  Biography Phyllis was born on September 11, 1921 in St Cloud, Minnesota to Henry Van de Streek and Ella Hulleman. She attended St. Cloud Public Schools, graduating from High School in the class of 1939. After graduation, Phyllis moved to Marshalltown, Iowa where she attended the Evangelical Deaconess Hospital School of Nursing. She graduated as a Registered Nurse from the class of 1942. Phyllis married Wilton E. Lathrop Feb. 8, 1942 in Bethany, Missouri. They returned to Marshalltown and lived there until Wilton's death in 1995. She moved to Fort Collins, Colorado, after his death. Phyllis enjoyed gardening, crafts, and watching her favorite sports teams.
