  	VANDE STREEK, Miss Ruth Kalamazoo, MI Died Friday afternoon April 24, 2009 in Grand Rapids, Ruth was born September 5, 1930 in Comstock, Michigan a daughter of Edward and Hattie (Scholten) VandeStreek. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident most of her life and was employed with Ferguson Hospital for 23 years, retiring in 1993. Ruth was also a member of Second Christian Reformed Church. Preceding her in death were her parents; and four brothers, Edward, Henry, Harold, Albert, and Bernard VandeStreek; and three sisters, Alberta Koetje, Alice Cleland, and Joanne Smith. She is survived by her guardian and niece, Patricia (Wayne) Feenstra of Grand Rapids; and several other nieces, nephews, and cousins. Services will be held 1 o'clock Tuesday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 PM Monday. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Second Christian Reformed Church or the Christian Rest Home in Grand Rapids. www.langelands.com 343-1508
