"Hattie" Hendrikje van de Streek was born May 18, 1890 in Oldebroek, Gelderland, Netherlands. She is the daughter of Jan van de Streek and Gertrude Hoekert. She married Arthur Wallendal on 6 March 1911 in Waupun, Wisconsin. Arthur Wallendal was born on 31 Oct 1881 in Friesland, Netherlands. He died on 11 Dec 1959 in Waupun, Fond du Lac Co., Wisconsin. Buried on 14 Dec 1959 in Forest Mound Cemetery, Fond du Lac Co., Wisconsin. Hattie died on 16 Mar 1972 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Buried in Forest Mound Cemetery 20 Mar 1972.

Hold U-C Rite for Mrs. Hattie Wallendal
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, March 20, in Union-Congregational church for Mrs. Hattie Wallendal, a former Waupun resident, who died March 16 at the age of 81, in Baton Rouge, La., while visiting her son, Clarence Wallendal. The Rev. Marlyn Close officiated. Burial was in Forest Mound cemetery. Visitation was made in Kohls company funeral home from 2-9 p.m. Sunday, and at the church from noon until the hour of service. Mrs. Wallendal was born May 18, 1890, in the Netherlands, the daughter of John and Gertrude Hoekert Vande Streek. She was married to Arthur Wallendal. They lived all their married life in the Waupun area. Mr. Wallendal preceded her in death in 1959. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Argyle (Margaret) Zimmerman, Eldorado, with whom she resided; two sons, Clarence, Baton Rouge; and John, Waupun; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. John Henken, Waupun.
